I think arnold gets it...more democrats will be willing to vote for him...there aren't that many reopublicans to out number the democrats. More independants will be willing to vote for arnold. He sounded likle he knew what he was talking about and didn't sound silly.

I thought Arnold looked sophmoric and "lite", too bad people here not only are voting for Arnold to win but ACUALLY LIKE him and his posistions, That is mindblowing.

McClintock certainly did a superb job.........but to imply that the drooling socialist from the Green Party took second.................................good God in Heaven.

Dig it! All the networks are Arnold this and Arnold that. Did you see moonbeam on msnbc? Vein's bulging in his neck as he insisted that the only chance the democraps had was to challenge Arnie to a series of one on one debates, mano y mano! I about fell out of my chair laughing!

Arnold gained NOTHING by going after Arianna. If anything, he wants her to be more viable so she can siphon off votes from Cruz..

I share your concerns. I'd be happier if only one had ended up running. Someone with Arnold's charisma and upbeat enthusiasm, the ability to make people like him who are politically opposed to him ... and with Tom's conservatism.

I can dream, can't I?

Nope. Arnold won on style, Tom won on substance.

Agreed. Tom was FANTASTIC though. I sure hope he becomes your new Senator, knocking off Boxer in '06.

I agree with that.

So, how much money are you willing to bet that Mcclintock wins? Anyone?

Does anyone get the feeling that maybe, just maybe the race will be between McClintock and Arnold, with Bustamante in third? After all, Arnold grabs from the left, middle and right, Tom's supporters are rock-solid supporters for the most part, and many of Bustamante's can't even read English, so good luck finding his name among 130 candidates... Anyone?

I wish Schwarzenegger would have defended Bush when Huffington was blaming our problems on Bush (btw, I thought McClintock should have made some comment in defense of Bush as well).

My gosh, you're so right. I didn't think of that, largely because what they DID counterattack with was pretty good as far as it went.

I suppose they know that the polls in CA have Bush's popularity at only 49% or so. But ya know what? It won't take 49%, even, to win this recall (assuming that Davis is dumped on part one of that issue).

Good call.

Brave vanity post. Substantive as well.

Arnold's supporters won't like it.

I can tell you who didn't win.... Arianna Huffington. What a skanky troll.

Oh, and BustaMEChA, who sat there like a speed bump. His presence was confirmation of his status as a loser.

McClintock is great but he can't even win a poll on FR. So how do you think he'll do in Commiefornia?

He won't have a snowball's chance in hell if he doesn't back out and cruz wins. The Republican Party should fry him for it.

Debate Terminates Arnold - Title

Tom wins Recall Debate. - Openning sentence.

Why not make the title 'Tom wins Recall Debate'?

You are never going to win if you have to invoke the other guys name to gain some interest.

Or is this just flame bait?

I don't live in Cali so I have no influence on the outcome.

Freaky eyes! Does the man never blink? He's on Hannity and Colmes now and it doesn't sound like he understands that he or Arnold must drop out to prevent a split in R votes. He's not dropping out and doesn't believe any poll showing him behind anyone. I've never listened to him, but this interview doesn't impress me one bit.

Arnold crushed all, states and nations will line up to do business with CA after Arnold wins, McClintock will work with Governor Arnold after the election. You are insane to think McClintock will not withdraw; he could have burried Arnold tonight but he held back.... why do you think he held back??? Why??? Why??? Because he is in it to confuse the Democrats and the foolish, as well as secure a Senate seat. DUH, you are as dumn as Tucker on CNN.
