I am pretty clear on the history of strict "church-school" separation dating back to 1947, but I am less clear on the history of multi-culturism, which also figures prominently in the Coulter column. Any hints?
At my daughter's school, I've seen the displays of the culture/geography programs. It all seems fine. The only real clunker I recall is the following: a 6th grade social studies teacher told us they had been discussing the different attitudes toward war of the two genders. Say what??
