....he has been the best, most gentle, relaxed dog that we have ever owned.

Years ago, I had a racing greyhound that I raised on the farm. It was a pup when we got him, and that dog was so gentle. We trained him to herd the cattle and sheep. You just had to point to the pasture and say, "Go get 'em". He would bring them all to the barnyard for the night.

He could jump the 6' yard fence from a standstill. His favorite trick, was to stand on his hind legs and look into cars or pickups when we got visitors. There were several salsemen who refused to get out of their vehicles when he was around.

That is a wonderful story. They really are remarkable dogs and a blessing to have around the house.

Now that our youngest son is 18, my wife calls him our "baby"...and she means it, and he takes it literally! lol!
