Another Ten Commandments Monument Is Moved
(CNSNews.com) - The American Civil Liberties Union can chalk up another victory in its effort to remove the Ten Commandments from the public arena. Wire reports said a Ten Commandments monument was removed from a courthouse lawn in Miles City, Montana, on Wednesday. Workers took it to a nearby museum, which is privately run. The American Civil Liberties Union insists the Ten Commandments constitute a religious display that has no place on public property. According to press reports, the stone bearing the Commandments was given to Custer County, Montana, in 1968 by the Fraternal Order of Eagles. In 1997 - 29 years later - someone complained, and the legal wrangling started in 1999.

Well, this went under the radar.
But I thought the ACLU said they just wanted to remove Roy Moore's monument?

Every time this happens, the monument should be moved to a prominent, but privately owned place, and a plaque should be installed with it recounting how the monument had stood for years, until the ACLU claimed that some anonymous individual was offended, and threatened a financially crippling lawsuit.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are
Endowed By Their Creator
with certain inalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Not a stinkin' thing those ACLU slimeballs could do about it then :)Are you sure? When it comes to smoking tobacco 'public places' is defined as any place the public may go. Private property is not exempt.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
Amos 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. (thanks to the ACLU)
And they are still looking for the missing capstone in Alabama.

The ACLU wants to remove all traces of Christianity from America. Make no mistake, if a stand isn't made, and made soon, we will all be worshipping in basements and secret rooms just like in the old Soviet Union. I'm sure a church as big as the Russian Orthodox didn't believe it could happen there, either. The ACLU represents a "clear and present danger" to all Bible-believing Christians in this country.

Rally to Support the Ten Commandments on Oct. 6 at the U.S. Supreme CourtAfter the rally, plan on lobbying your Congressmen to support:
- The Ten Commandments Defense Act in the House of Representative (HR 2045). This bill is designed to protect the authority of individual states to display the Ten Commandments in public places and ensures the freedom of religious expression under the First Amendment to the Constitution.
- The Religious Liberties Restoration Act in the Senate (S.1558). This bill would ensure our religious freedoms including displaying the Ten Commandments, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance with ''one nation under God,'' and preserving the national motto, ''In God we trust.''
- The confirmation of President Bush's judicial nominees, who believe a judge's role is to interpret and apply the Constitution and law, not reinvent law to conform to their opinions.
For a schedule of events leading up to the rally, and information on the Save The Commandments Caravan, go to www.spiritofmontgomery.org

God help me, but I wish that someday those anti-American scum in the ACLU are made to suffer for what they are doing to our country.

These types of actions will not stop until they are exposed for what they are: liberal Jews out to destroy Christianity. Stuff any, "You're anti-Semitic" comments - I'm a hugely strong supporter of Israel. Go and read the Supreme Court decisions from the late 1940s onward.

Are you emphasizing the 'liberal' here? Because the ten commandments are VERY valuable to Jews.

While the actors may be "Liberal Jews", if they are out to destroy something, it's religion in public life, not just Christianity. The Ten Commandments are part of the Old Testament, and at least as much a part of the Jewish religion as the Christian. They are even part of Islam, although they don't have quite the same status there.
