I agree that California FReepers (and voters) should settle this issue...of which I am not.

However, it amazes me how many people site abortion as an issue in a Governor's race. See Courts, Federal, more precisely, SCOTUS.

In a way abortion is an issue. I know that the Gov. of CA cannot change any abortion laws, however, just having a person in office that thinks it is okay to kill babies doesn't say much about his/her character and not one I'd want making weighty decisons in other matters.
