Bill Simon is a RINO...or so goes the chant of the Freepers looking to elect Bustimonte.

Yeppers. Bill Simon, Sean Hannity, Darrell Issa, Rodger Hedgecock, and many other far-right conservatives who have ALL endorsed Arnold.

The "RINO" argument was laughable at first; now it's downright hilarious.

If Arnold is elected and then officially switches parties (and I see no reason why he wouldn't), I wonder how many of his fans here would remain loyal. This seems to have nothing whatever to do with principle, just with labeling. It's the reason I have no plans myself to register as a Republican, no matter how regularly I vote for them.

Bustamonte is a Recondista who has belonged to a party since college that seeks to have a latino takeover in the Southwest(NewAmerican.com). Arnold is a pro-choice Catholic who should be ashamed. He is right about illegal immigrants and Bustamonte is part of the problem. McLintock, or whatever his name is is a stiff. I think he looks cross-eyed. California might as well fall into the sea. Abandon all hope all ye who enter here!

whopppeee! let's here it for party unity! This whole election is a shame! Why do you think parties hold conventions? Because they only know how to be conventional.

If Arnold is elected and then officially switches parties

If Arnold ever had any intention of doing so, he would have done it prior to running and had a tremendous sweep of the recall... he's been a staunch Republican since the 80's and is a deep down fiscal conservative.

Read my tag... the man detests socialism. If he didn't, I wouldn't be supporting him and doubt any Republican would.

Chuck Norris also contributed for the fund to have that Marine keep his house, who was being foreclosed upon, because he was flying the US Flag.
What a shock that another Hollywood action hero endorsed Arnold. Arnold's people better be begging Issa to NOT endorse him tomorrow. Issa's appearance on CNN this morning, sticking his thumb in McClintock's eye and claiming that McClintock promised to get out of race, was possibly the stupidest thing he has done so far. Ranks right up there with telling people to vote no on the recall. Issa's stupidity made McClintock dig in his heels even more. Did you see their faces side by side?

I hope the people in Issa's district defeat him in the primary next time. An absolute egotist loser.

Would you agree with strela's claim that Jim Robinson has no business on his own site?

The attacks on Arnold here sometimes mimic word for word the attacks on him over at DU... now THAT is scary

But not surprising. Fecal material always manages to smell the same, no matter from which orifice it is extruded.

Ok, I can read you.

I support Ahnold. But I also watched the debate and am awed -- really in awe of McClintock.

California has too many liberals for whatever reason. So I support

McClintock for President.

He has my vote. Intelligence with superb reasoning ability, also patience, benignity, goodness...

If Arnold is elected and then officially switches parties (and I see no reason why he wouldn't),

Hang on right there.

Please explain your reasoning here.

The man arrived on American shores and almost immediately self-identified as a Republican. The minute he became a citizen he registered as one, campaigned for Republicans, fund raised for Republicans, and so on, never changing his registration.

So I ask, by what thought process do you deduce that he would now run as a Republican only to change parties at this late date after assuming office.

It defies common sense and any basis to reasonable thinking and simply is not ever going to happen.
