It is amazing what percent of people are able to find jobs immediately after their unemployment payments run out...
30% of people find jobs within 5 weeks. 78% find jobs before the benefits run out. 22% exhaust the benefits, but I don't know how quickly they find jobs after that.
Unemployment is one of the leading causes of bankruptcy. There was a thread yesterday talking about bankruptcy and it is not who you would think, it's mostly families with school aged children.
