I saw the photo. It's not available on line.
There's a Willis thread going. Just want to bring some clarity. Don't think of him as a Republican or a conservative.

What a disappointment! There goes me not watching any more Willis' movies. Jeepers! Also, it states the photo was taken by Anne Cusack. Any relation to the liberal-minded actor John Cusack?

That's okay . . . last night on Hannity and Colmes, Chuck Norris endorsed both the recall and Auhnold. Walker Texas Ranger can kick the butt of any Bruce Willis' character's.

How can Bruce Willis be here and
here at the same time?

But Willis also just did this.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/989928/posts Actor Willis' $1m Saddam bounty (Go Bruce Go!!)
BBC News | 9/26/03

Actor Bruce Willis has performed before US soldiers in Telafar, northern Iraq, and offered $1m (£603,000) to the man who captures Saddam Hussein.
"We're here to support you," the star told troops as he sang a set of blues songs with his band, the Accelerator.
"If you catch him, just give me four seconds with Saddam Hussein," he said.
Willis will next fly south to visit US soldiers in Tikrit - Saddam's home town - before performing two concerts for troops in neighbouring Kuwait.
"Somebody that supports the military like he has and that comes to visit soldiers - that's important to us," said Greg Pagan, from 3rd Brigade of the 101st's Airborne Division based at Telafar.
'Thumbs up'
"It's awesome," said commander Col Michael Linnington. "It's great for morale. "He's a macho actor. Soldiers identify with action movies and action actors. He's a guy's guy."
During an interview Willis said: "Peculiar thing back home is that the liberal media was trying to portray it as a bad war.
"But being over here just a couple of days, seeing how well our troops and the allied troops are being received here, (I) think the Iraqi people are happy we're here," the Hollywood star said.
Willis will also visit troops in Kuwait
"Children are being taken care of, starting being inoculated, starting being looked after. Wherever these guys go they get thumbs up. They no longer have to contend with the terrorist leader," Willis said.
But the star later admitted he had not met many Iraqis because he had been travelling the country by helicopter.
Willis, a Republican party supporter, was one of the few celebrities to publicly back the US' stance during the recent war on Iraq, which was led by President Bush.
Willis recently played a US special forces commander sent in to rescue medical staff in war-torn Nigeria in the film Tears of the Sun.

Maybe he will run for a high office with an R ? He would find a ton of support from the ArnieBots.

I can understand some being against the recall on the grounds they think it is being misused.

You're right, Bruce Willis entertained our troops and has not used his stardom to spout off. Supporting Davis isn't the same as attacking America verbally. Stupid maybe....

Please don't throw him out yet!
Bruce Willis is very supportive of our troops and was in Iraq just a few weeks ago!
He also bought out the entire supply of Girl Scout cookies from his daughter's troop and sent them to the military in the ME. While his poitics is flakey, for me, that buys him some grace.

That's odd. He's in Iraq now blasting the "liberal media" attacks on the mission we're doing in Iraq and he's performing for troops there. What's going on with this Gray Davis function? I can't believe it until I actually see the photo myself. You saw the photo, not available online? Can't you make it available online and provide it yourself. Was it in the paper or what? I have a hard time believing it without more proof as Bruce Willis and Schwarzenegger actively campaigned for GHW Bush when he was getting maligned by Hollyweird in '92 and have always been outsiders with their politics there. I'd like more evidence because I question this report of Willis supporting Gray Davis.

OK,...... so he's a "nice" socialist democrat........

I'm not going to get upset with Willis over this. I agree. He's supporting our troops. That's the important thing. He may well like Gray Davis [gag], or he may simply be sucking up to a producer of an upcoming film - something like that. Either way I give him a pass.

How can Bruce Willis be here and here at the same time? Look at the dates. The anti-recall fundraiser was last week.

Maybe he will run for a high office with an R ? He would find a ton of support from the ArnieBots. Exactly.

No, he's a guy who supports our troops. And that weighs a lot with me.
Besides, I am not going to boycott every thing or every one that people on this board call to boycott. If i did , i would be living in a cave and eating rocks. . I boycott what I feel is most important.

If you "don't believe it" you are goofy.
It's an LA Times photo. We can't post it here anyhow.
I don't have a registration to see if it is at their web site.
IT's real. His support for Davis is real.
His visit to Iraq is commendable. People should just realize he is not a totally whcked out leftist like much of Hollywood. But he's not a conservative Republican.
