It's a measure of just how corrupt and unaccountable the Dems in Sacramento have become that Bustamante just does all this crap right out in the open. I'ts like he's saying, "I don't give a damn what the law says or what you think."
To: Alia
IMHO...Busty isn't even a factor anymore. Recall passes vs fails is the question.

Well, the jig may finally be up for Bustamante. If he fails to comply, he faces the possibility of a.....CONTEMPT CITATION!!! Oooooohhh.....
To: Lancey Howard
Yeah, wouldn't that be sooo sad? *not*

Well, there's always the ultimate threat: Double Secret Probation.

Dems have been corrupted for many years, incrementally doing the voodoo they do. I think they are now so desperate, they are doing these things out of panic. Or is it, that the veil of deception that has lain over the US has been pierced, and we are able to see what they've been doing all along; but they are yet unaware they are no longer wearing those emperor's clothes?? hmm...
In any case, the best news of all is that Joe and Jane America have awakened! :)

I think Busta split this issue when he waffled between NO on recall, Yes on Busta -- and then YES on recall/YES on Busta -- I've been querrying classic dem voters. If they don't like Busta, they are voting no on recall. It's a dicey scenario by my recent counts..

So what?
" If he fails to comply, he faces the possibility of a.....CONTEMPT CITATION!!! Oooooohhh....."
Judge Wright held Clinton in contempt, April 1999, and it really hurt him in the eyes of the Dems.
To: FormerlyAnotherLurker
LOFL!!!
Most Democrats can't even spell "contempt citation", let alone know what it means.
To: Alia
Why should Busty comply? He already knows he can defy the court and get away with it. He'll go right ahead with the anti-Prop 54 spots, right up to Oct 7.
The court will do nothing.
To my mind, this releases all other candidates from legal restraints of any kind on their funding, where they get it and how they use it.
To: Alia
If any Republican did this, the democrats would be foaming at the mouth.

Throw the bum in the slammer for contempt and don't let him out until the money is returned. RATS will laugh off anything less.

Mexican style corruption. DemocRAT style corruption. Must have been a shock for the RATS to get a judge catching them and ordering them PRIOR to election day. 99% of the time it comes after election day when no one cares. No one cares if the RAT thief lost and if he won, then his backers pay the fines and get on with life because said RAT is in office and that's all that counts

Any other mention of paying back the funds already spend, not just committed? Wouldn't that payback be "loverly"?
