I know what you mean! I finally came home to the Low Country and Charleston in 1980. Lived in Savannah for 14 years and it is nothing like Charleston!
What part of Charleston did you grow up in?

I know the feeling, I grew up on Sullivan's Island...and lived downtown on Wentworth St. for a short time too.
