Pretty amusing that this comes out the same day as a post-debate CNN poll of likely voters showing an Arnold landslide. Apparently, Ellen Goodman is the only person in the world who wasn't aching to shove Arianna's yammering head into a toilet during that debate.

Once again, Ellen, you're wrong.

Watching the debate between the candidates in the California recall election, during the brief exchange between Arianna and Arnold -- the one you wrote about at length -- my wife's response was, "Well, Arianna has just sewn up the bitch vote."

Let's remember here, that Arianna was the one who fired the offensive comment at Arnold, not the other way around. Arnold defused a tense moment in the debate with good humor. Everyone laughed at his response, even Arianna. Apparently, only humorless leftist columnists thought this was a misstep by Arnold.

How can you play both the "feminist card" and the "poor defenseless woman" card in the same hand? Arianna's made of tougher stuff than you imply, and California voters are smarter than you think. Get real.
