McClintock stands out for pro-family voters
Tom McClintock has served nearly 20 years in the California State Legislature. First as an assemblyman and now as a state senator, McClintock is widely-acknowledged as being "the taxpayers' best friend and the bureaucrats' worst nightmare." Pro-life and pro-family, Tom McClintock is the only major candidate for Governor who has signed the Marriage Protection Pledge. Bustamante, Schwarzenegger, Davis, Camejo and Huffington have all refused.
With a respectable pro-family voting record, Tom McClintock has earned the support of Save California. California families desperately need their parental rights and basic moral values protected. We believe as Governor of California, Tom McClintock would veto anti-family bills that reach his desk.

We can receive from Satan by believing what he says when he tries to fill our mind with negative thoughts, or we can receive from God by believing His Word. We all believe something; it may as well be something good. Always remember that it does not cost anything to believe!

Even with faith you need reason. And the belief that McClintock has a chance is fallacy.

I will rephrase, "Even with faith you need sanity. It is insane to think that Tom has a chance."

You've been taught gambling all your life? Child Protective Services should have taken you away from your folks.
....sorry, your wrong!....I have been taught about Faith, Hope and Belief in the Powers of God, all my life.

I sure hope McClintock hangs in there. I am not a Rep. but I plan to vote for him and that goes for many of my Dem. friends. I like what he stands for.

yes, and remember that the CAlifornia voters overwhelmingly passed the Marriage Act-One Man
and One Woman, in 2000 while voting for Davis
over Simon while a huge percentage of conservatives
stayed home...
CA still votes conservative when given a strong
message or candidate... and funding!

what a stupid and untrue comment... tiresome and
dishonest and expected when you have no positive
reason to vote for your liberal candidate.
you have to be insane to beleve such drivel.

I think gambling is fine and moral and good Christians can do it moderately without doing anything wrong, thank you very much.

Legalized gambling is in no way inconsistent with family values. Some people could be scandalized, but what are they going to do, vote for the pro-abortion pro-sodomy candidate?
To: GrandMoM
didn't someone post on another thread a quote from Tom which basically said he would be too busy with the budget to address these issues? If true, how does that help the cause?
