"Another DNC hit, with media support, on the Bush admin. "
Exactly! Also, note that this is the fruit of leaving George Tennet at the CIA when Bush came in. He was a Cllinton appointee who made enough criticism of Clinton that Bush,Sr and Jr. thought they could count on him. Big mistake. Not him exactly but the surrounding players. Picking a Clinton NSC operative like Wilson to investigate the Niger claim by British from French intelligence (possibly true possibl ya French setup) was stupid. And it was doen by CIA officials under Tennett. DNC --read Hillary-- has been holding this fro peak news impact. Why is this coming out now? Because it was leaked that CIA is now asking for an investigation by Justice. I wonder why they chose now to leak this. Oh, really.

You have to wonder what reward he will receive for this.

I have to admit that the more I hear and read about this, the more confused I get. Maybe ADD. When I think of how this dovetails with the ongoing David Kelly Suicide/BBC investigation, it would seem to have what the military calls a "Multiplier Effect."

July 6th, is when Wilson wrote the article in the New York Times where he said the administration was missstating the information he had gleaned from going to Africa at the request of Cheney, to double check the possibility that Saddam had purchased yellow cake.
Wilson said he was chosen to go becuase of his expertise on Niger in the Clinton administration.
Goes to show you...NEVER trust a Clinton administration operative, even one who previously worked in the first Bush administration.
.Who in the Cheney administration made the decision to use Wilson.that is the question!!
Oh good.....a long winded, viet nam vet black caller....they are letting him ramble on, says "Im not going to bash Bush" he says, before he blasts away.
ohshit...the black guy caller says Wilson has a "look of grace" about him
And now Wilson is claiming he knew the war wrap up would be long and difficult..he's now a soothsayer!! Give me a break
"without getting into details", I'm not surprised Tenet has turned this over to the Justice Dept.
All the media drooling......and no one is mentioning how forthright it is for Tenet to do the right thing in this.
Good Question from second caller "Why don't you have hard feelings toward Novak?" Why doesn't Tenet force Novak to reveal the sources.
Wilson stalls, goes into spin about not believing in the war, not the best way to disarm Saddam...blah blah blah
Now with respect to mr. Novak, his comments about my wife were gratuituous, non sequitor, but we have freedoms, freedom of sppeech and press, and I've certainly benefited from this freedom for the past year and a half, so I cherish it..and Mr. Novak's freedom. WHATABUNCHABULL!!
and what self-serving pomposity..Wilson once again takes credit for planning and executing Clinton's very expensive boondoggle to Africa.
"courage and candor". Wilson sure likes the sound of that!
"I would match my credibility up against the White House any day" Wilson says.
Now the truth is out...he worked for Foley and Gore.
But I still don't know of my own knowledge, who first published the name of Wilson's wife? I only remember her being identified as a CIA operative.

Would that be the "government in waiting" that is currently out of power?

Absolutely correct. Do we have a date for the supposed leak to Novak? The Administration was very busy in Africa when his NYT op-ed was printed.

The left is at total war with Bush and all Repubs- I noticed an all out assault since January, when their polling told them that enuf time had passed since 9-11.
I don't see a Republican defense to their assault. They are organized, and are rolling up victories in DNC chosen, media led battles.
This leads me to one conclusion: Hillary 04.

The 'agree with President Bush' line rang about fifty times for me before I was disconnected.

As soon as he was chosen, the DNC got to him and a strategy was hatched. He will be rewarded with a high level position should there be a Dim admin in 2004.

The only pro Bush caller sided with Wilson. How was that a pro Bush caller. The old 'pro Bush caller who vehemently disagrees with him on this one issue' trick!

BTW, at the completion of 45 minute session, Tom Brokaw will be on the Imus program. He hasn't been on in a while and I'm certain this and other things will come up.
" At 8:29am eastern, NBC Nightly News Anchor Tom Brokaw will join Imus. Tom Brokaw is possibly the most recognizable face in broadcast journalism and one of the most respected men in his field. He has seen first hand what is happening in Iraq, Afghanistan, on the campaign trails and in the White House. Imus will ask Tom to share insight that you dont see on other news broadcasts. msnbc.com"

Oh listen carefully...Wilson is on a mission now....he's totally discrediting Bush's invasion of Iraq.
I BELIEVE Joseph Wilson is the Democrat's Big Gun for the election, on the war issue. LISTEN TO HIM...he's doing what none of the democrat candidates can do. A democrat caller just stated it better than I could..."Democrats feel betrayed by their leaders because they didn't fight against it...it was crammed down our throats.
AND HE"S ASSOCIATED HIMSELF WITH THAT ANT IWAR WEBSITE...What's the name again...I missed it. But Wilson said, "oh there's no doubt Saddam had WMD weapon program, and chemicals", but what bothers Wilson is that those weapons ddidn't pose an imminent threat, and that's what it should have taken for President Bush to use force against Iraq.

That's why I've stopped watching Washington Journal on a regular basis. They are not fair and balanced.
