I'm watching Fineman on Imus, blast Cheney's office because of what they did to Wilson, exposing his wife..just caught your C-Span heads up.
But hey! who gave out the name of Wilson's wife? I think it was a reporter...NOT anyone in Cheney's office!!!!

This news is a few months old. It did not have legs then.
Another DNC hit, with media support, on the Bush admin.
I really don't see how Bush can win in 2004 with the media constantly attacking for the next year+. It just keeps getting worse every day.

Wilson was all over television when this story first broke..I think it was sometime last winter and spring. I don't know what got it all fired up again.

Media bias is now a HUGE problem for Republicans.

C SPIN is now pulling one of their fav spins.
The older vet has called in, criticizing Bush and the admin, and praising Wilson.
Wilson- this guy is a nobody. The fact that the media is positioning him as such a respect worthy expert on Iraq is a joke.
He is not even talking about WMD. He is spouting the old unjust, unneccesary war mantra. The imperialist bit.
The media can create any Bush scandal they choose- and they will do exactly that until the election.

You have obviously been following this story more closely than I have. When State, DOD, NSC, CIA, etc. are thrown into the mix, we may never know what it is all about.

Thanks. Wilson's reappearance is interesting.
Best explanation for all of this I have heard is that he is using the Clinton trick of leaking stuff to opponents to deflect his own culpability.
And I think that Wilson is the one who talked to Novak. He probably threw his wife's name out to Novak to show his "insider" status.
He has no problem with Novak at all. Considering he wrote the story, isn't this odd?
If it were not for Novak, he would be in his pajamas reading the NYT. He is INDEBTED to Novak.
I still haven't seen any proof that his wife was a 'secret agent'.
And what did he do on this trip? He did not even take any notes or keep a record.
At the very least, the media should be mentioning his loyalty to the Democratic party in SOME manner. They are painting him as a neutral ambassador with no bias.
