Nice thread, ohio....Did you notice that in some of the photos at the top where she's wearing that small-check suit, she's wearing pearls, and other times, not???

Glad to see these pictures! She is someone to be proud of. She represents our country well.
Vlad needs to get someone to help Ludmilla with her clothes, by the way. LOL!

I saw these yesterday and wondered if they would show up on the Dose, but they surely deserve their own thread. She is *amazing*!

Just look at how lovely, relaxed and confident she looks sitting beside Chirac. She's got it together for sure. I can't get over how in command and happy she looks in that photo. She doesn't get near the press coverage she should but then again neither does President Bush :) But then again, neither one of them care about the press coverage. They do their respective jobs and don't need face time. To put it simply: They are both confident in who they are and what they are doing for their country. that's all they need to know. They have peace and contentment from within and are not in competition with each other for power and THAT my friends is the difference between them and the former administration.

You know, the enemy is sadistic enough to try to attack him the hardest when he is without her comfort and support.
It may not be coincidental that these attacks happen when Laura is away from him.......

I admired their beauty but never thought about it beyond that. Of course: yellow roses for the "Prettiest Yellow Rose of Texas (Midland of course)and now Crawford. Good for you for pointing that out.
"She's the sweetest little rosebud that Texas ever knew
her eyes are like the diamonds they sparkle like the dew
you can talk about your Clementine and sing of Rosalie
but the Yellow Rose of Texas is the only one for me."
Great song!!!

Classy lady. I am so thrilled to have such a wonderful, genuine woman in the White House, one I don't have to censor with my girls.

Hmmmmmmm.....curious, Molly.
The UNESCO appearance was first I think, and she's not wearing them. Maybe she forgot to put them on, and added them for her meeting with Chirac?

It's definitely curious, that's for sure.
Her book festival is this weekend so she won't be gone for long this time.

This picture is hilarious! Poor Laura looks absolutely disgusted. But of course she's too much of a lady to say anything.

Laura is definately a beautiful woman, and I think a big part of her beauty is the love you see in her eyes when she looks at Dubya and little children,

Barbara Bush was a wonderful first lady as well. She was a wife and mother first though and she spoke her mind. Plus...she's very humorous and quick on her feet. The Bush family is a credit to our country. George and Barbara Bush did a fantastic job raising their children.

That's probably the explanation, or close to it...I looked and looked again to make sure I was seeing it right!

There's definitely love in those eyes, MJY........and joy, and peace, and all the rest of the fruits of the Spirit, as well.
