Tenent needs to go and the CIA given a good housecleaning.

That seems to be the moral of this story, although it's long overdue. Many of us thought we were cleaning out Washington by electing Bush, yet it never happened. Action, or in this case inaction, has consequences and it's good to see Bush getting stung by his refusal to clean out Clintonistas and other leftists in Washington. He'll make it through this non-scandal, but this is a serious wakeup call for him--clean house or the rats will bite you.

CIA seems to be like Cadillac and other great American products of the yesteryear. Presitge badge but unreliable on the road. Perhaps, just like other presige brands, CIA has to be 'outsourced' to Russia or Israel.

For example, when "John David Neighbor",The first secretary of US Embassy was arrested in Belgrade (caught on tape in the act of espionage) it was easily established that he used an alias. His real name was Jim Barkas, Princeton '68 Serious blunder.

CIA failed to provide a legend for "John David Neighbor". And the practice seems to be widespread. Several months later other "US diplomats" were spotted, this time in Russia

Combing US embassy staff names with any good search engine can easily detect those who use aliases.

Housecleaning should start from there because it puts US personnel at peril and US interests at risk.
