[history]
"Neo-conservatives and religious conservatives have hijacked this administration, and I consider myself on a personal mission to destroy both." Those are the words of Ambassador Joseph Wilson, who will certainly be a household name for weeks to come.
Chances are very good that we will never know who from the White House leaked the information about Mr. Wilson and his wife to members of the press. For one thing, that's the nature of leak investigations. Journalists don't reveal their sources, and sources have a way of disappearing into the mahogany paneling in the halls of power here in Washington. Most of such investigations end inconclusively.

Exactly, he's on a personal mission. It has nothing to do with yellow cake.

In any event, suboena him and take relevant testimony under oath about the entire thread of leaks.

The only thing Joe Wilson has proven is that he has it in for George W. Bush.

When this is all said and done we will probably find that Mr. Wilson himself was the one who leaked the info on his wife. The UK just went through something very similar in the Dr. Kelley/BBC episode over Iraq.

His trip to Nigeria was evidence enough that he was on a personal anti-Bush crusade.

People operating in the nether world refer to "Blowback", such as the cr*p hitting oneself back in the face afterwards, sometimes years down the line. Maybe Mr. Wilson is setting his own goodself up for a little taste of "blowback"; maybe a White House Senior Staffer, maybe a CIA employee. At any rate, once found, time to draw and quarter.

Very good article. It is about time some sanity comes to this issue. This is all about the Dems and the media jumping on minor item and blowing it up into a major non issue. They just want to smear Bush and the GOP.

Polygraphs.
Time for polygraphs at both the White House and at CIA (and perhaps elsewhere).
Journalists are not going to squeal, so we should look at this method of extracting info. on the errant party or parties. It may all trace back to Wilson. Wouldn't THAT be something.

...revealing the identity of a
[covert]* CIA officer is a federal crime...
* Provided that the 'leaker' knew the agent was a covert agent, that the CIA made explicit attempts to conceal the identity of the agent, etc etc.

Neocommunists, America-haters, and traitors have this administration under attack, not because of any specific policy differences, but because of the stark contrast in integrity. The Bush administration is principled, decisive and motivated by positive national objectives. The scum-sucking, sewer dwelling, lying, untrustworthy, obstructionist, crooked dems are begining to realize what their inherent nature does to the likelihood of their continued existance.
The dems are no longer the opposition party, willing to work on many issues with the majority for the good of the nation. The dems have reduced themselves and their sleazy party to doing nothing more than peeing in the pool.

"Whoever leaked that comment about my wife did it very clearly to smear my good name and my wife's good name." Where's the smear in all of this??? How were they smeared?! This guy is a whack job...and he has the ear of the media! Ridiculous!!!!

Rush is reading and commenting on this article right now!

"Neo-conservatives and religious conservatives have hijacked this administration, and I consider myself on a personal mission to destroy both." ************** Hijackers? And he's gonna destroy the hijackers? Hmmmm.

The only question I have is...Will this last as long as the 16-words scandal/crisis/debacle/disaster in July?Probably. The media has a bone in its mouth and woun't let it go for several months. They don't give a shiite about doing honest research and *reporting* facts.
