E. Laine Stockton/ALLEGED VICTIM
|
GLENDALE
The allegations are serious...they come after an investigation by the Los Angeles Times. Six women say Arnold Schwarzenegger allegedly touched them in a sexual way without their consent...
The most recent act allegedly happened just three years ago...but the allegations go back as far as the 1970's. E. Laine Stockton still remembers the day...nearly thirty years ago...
An incident involving Arnold Schwarzenegger at Gold's Gym in Venice. Stockton says
She was watching her former husband, bodybuilder Robby Robinson lift weights.
E. Laine Stockton/ALLEGED VICTIM: I was just there watching him work out..the gym was full...Arnold was there...he passed by and groped my breast and I was in sheer shock.
Stockton is among six women...who allege the gubernatorial front-runner sexually harassed them and touched them in a sexual way without their consent.
The allegations reported in the L.A. Times...took place over the past thirty years.
According to the report, the acts allegedly happened on movie sets, in studio offices and other settings. The first incident allegedly happening in the 1970's
the most recent in 2000.
Today Schwarzenegger admitted he behaved badly in the past and apologized for offending people... A smart move according to some political analysts. Allan Hoffenblum/GOP POLITICAL CONSULTANT: He's not lying about the past...he's asking voters to accept that he's admitted his behavior and that's not the type of person he is today.
But his critics...like former candidate Arriana Huffington say the allegations prove Schwarzenegger is not who he says he is.
Arianna Huffington/FORMER CANDIDATE: What I've been saying about his treatment of women and what is part of continuum of lack of respect ...which we saw when he put no women on his economic team even though there are dozens of brillant women in California.
Schwarzenegger's apology also doesn't mean much to his alleged victim.
E. Laine Stockton/ALLEGED VICTIM: All I want from Arnold is
he did this to me publicly and I would like a public apology personally from him.
Stockton says she was not approached by Schwarzenegger's rivals to make these allegations
she says she is speaking on her own as part of her own healing process.
Also, the six women making the allegations never filed any legal action.

Yes but how many brilliant women in California are there with really nice tits?

I'm not excusing the grope, but some people watch too much Oprah.

Gold digging sh*t! Her husband has been trying without success the last several months to try to sell his story that Arnold said racist remarks, and now this. How utterly phony!!!!

she says she is speaking on her own as part of her own healing process. I amazed that she survived the trauma. She must be an incredibly strong woman.

I remember a day when the "healing process" consisted of a slap to the face.

I patted several women on the behind during my youth and while in the Marines. OMG, I even called them baby and sweetheart. I don't remember it being such a big deal? Actually, it was kinda fun. };O)

This woman got her boob squeezed 30 years ago and she'll still in the "healing" process? Come on! Am I the only one here who remembers the 70's? Someone puts his hand on you and you don't want it, you slap his face. That's the way we handled it before lawyers.
If Arnold did this publically, while she was watching her husband lift weights, why didn't her husband come to her rescue?

Just how does one"grope"and continue"passing by" at the same time.
I ain't got none of that fancy book lernin',but I think "grope" and "bump in to" may mean the same thing.

ABCNEWS obtained a copy of an unpublished book proposal with quotes from a verbatim transcript of an interview Schwarzenegger gave in 1975 while making the film Pumping Iron. Asked who his heroes are, he answered, "I admired Hitler, for instance, because he came from being a little man with almost no formal education, up to power. I admire him for being such a good public speaker and for what he did with it." He is quoted as saying he wished he could have an experience, "like Hitler in the Nuremberg stadium. And have all those people scream at you and just being total agreement whatever you say." So, Auhnold not only concedes to be a serial groper & group orgyist, but one who deems Hitler as one of his fave "heroes," eh? What do you expect from someone who is a relative of "who-cares-if-preborn-babies-drown-in-cars" Kennedy?
My prediction made on Sept. 10, 11:48 a.m. (entry #143 on the McClintock: 'I'm in this race right to the finish line' thread) was that this would happen:
23 days ago, I wrote: "My prediction is that the Dems have something (or several things) on Arnie that they are waiting to bring out of the closet as soon as the last other viable Repub (McClintock) steps out of the race...and if not McClintock, then they'll spring it anyway. All of these Arnie pragmatists would then have egg on their face...if this happens, then for Repub voters, popularity & charisma won't trump scandal & anti-Republican platform stands (like killing off the next generation of voters).
Auhnold should withdraw immediately now that he has unveiled the ethics of his himself & his supporters for what they really are!

Ariana is arguing that people can't change.
Yet, Ariana changed and ended up betraying America and embracing our enemies.

she says she is speaking on her own as part of her own healing process. It takes thirty years to heal from a grope? Just imagine if she went through what Juanita Broadricke went through. Then again Clinton was a Democrat so she wouldn't even raise a fuss.

It has been well established during the Clinton years by the media that one grope is perfectly acceptable behavior.
To: ambrose
So Arnold can run for President on the Democratic ticket now? Nothing more than Clinton did.
