You don't even have to be rich, several gals at the office have rep for this sort of thing...its usually women with the pills...not sure about why that is...guys with the "problem" around here are usually boozers
In any event, your point is well placed, Rush could have 3 different doctors in three different states, and run his own pharmacy...whole thing makes little sense
but then again, sleeping with a the chunky, blabbermouth intern wasn't the smartest choice either....who knows anymore
To: teletech
Where is the proof that Rush took pill one. Hmmmm? Rush had said he would "cooperate." I find it very odd he didn't vehemetly deny the allegation. I have to say, and much as Rush bashes "dope-smoking FM types," I would be very disappointed if it turned out he was a drug addict.

His behavior is an admission. Don't you think that if he was clean he would have the slightest hesitation about saying so loudly, and often? Wouldn't he be on the air right now saying this?Listen, only GUILTY PEOPLE need to defend themselves! Oh, I forgot, in your eyes HE'S ALREADY GUILTY!

Interesting news, if this is correct.
In fact, even if everything this woman said was true it would be highly unusual for law enforcement to enlist the aid of a dealer in order to build a case against her customers. It works the other way around, folks.

But this story in the National Enquirer I just find it amazing how many people jumped on this as credible from a mag that often reads "WOMAN HAS 500 lb - LIZARD BABY via natural childbirth" on the front cover.

"Tomorrow I expect to hear that Arnold was caught delivering pain killers to Kobe Bryant at Rush Limbaugh's house via a prostitute courier company based in Quagmire, Iraq. Tom Daschle will be saddened and concerned and John Kerry will remind us that he is a Vietnam Vet."
Now that is hilarious. But It MIGHT be in the LA Times tomorrow. We shall see.

But today was a scheduled day off, so he could attend a Broadcaster's event as the keynote speaker.
So he couldnt' address it on his show today.

Didn't the reporter also say that the maid(?) alleged Rush got some of the drugs via FedEx?

Can you just imagine being an advertiser on Rush's show tomorrow. I think tomorrow may be the most anticipated show of his whole career...I just hope it isn't among his last.

I wonder what Rush will do if he isn't subject to prosecution, yet did take some painkillers procured for him by this woman. What if it is true, perhaps not to the extent that she portays it?
Let's say the authorities give him the all-clear because he was "only a user". The left would always have something to rail about and never let him rest, always raising doubts about his credibility. If her allegations are partially true, I think it would be impressive for him to get it all out in the open, especially if he didn't have to.
Unfortunately, if the maid's story is a bunch of crap and he says so, the left will probably never believe it. I do have a hard time believing that he would have acted so irrationally as to procure pills off the street and leave a computer trail. Quite out of character as I see it.
To: thoughtomator
I don't see why everyone is acting relieved by what is clearly bad news. It very well could be that he had a problem while going through his medical stuff, and got over it, and now this is coming out.

Did you notice that ALL MENTION of Rush is off of Drudge's website? They are buddies. Methinks they had a conversation. Tomorrow's show is a do-not-miss!
