This is the type of discussion that should have occurred as a result of Rush's comments. Was what he said true or not? There are people who can defend the position that it is not true...a healthy debate.
The debate over whether he should have said it or not is ridiculous and destructive to the fabric of America.

The subject of race in sports needs to be discussed to death until silly rules like the one requiring teams to interview a quota of black applicants for coaching jobs before they can hire or face a fine are abolished forever.
As long as black athletes and "leaders" make these ridiculous demands in the sports world, then race will always be suspect as a motive for accolades by the sports media.
Rush Limbaugh was not the originator of the racial scrutiny in quarterback positions -- that began long before he got his job at ESPN -- and he has a right to participate in the ongoing discussion.
