I wasn't on the jury so I couldn't make one either. However in South Central no one needed to know any of the facts!

That is apparently the case with Rush as well....

The facts do not support a conclusion that he is a pill popper.

law enforcement had enlisted Rush to participate in a long-running sting operation to catch the maid's bosses, dealers, pushers and other sundry perps.

Kinda like when Elvis wanted to work undercover for Nixon eh?

Great minds do indeed think alike!

Rush could FLATLY DENY taking other people's prescription drugs

Is that what he's accused of?

If he did that, the smear machine would spin on by saying:

"Today, Rush flately denied taking other people's prescriptions, but he did not deny taking excessive amounts under his own, or falsified prescriptions..."

You really don't understand the way this game is played.

Extremely plausible and interesting. If this is a Federal investigation it should not be forgotten that U.S, Attorneys offices are highly politicized and they generally like to capture "big fish" in an investigation. The two characters involved in this case with Rush both seem highly unsavory and both have previous criminal histories. It is not hard to believe that these two implicated Rush in order to avoid a Federal rap.

The Company would check their employee's background. Cleaning agencies are usually bonded and insured.

Your theory makes more sense than anything I have heard. None of the story I am hearing from the media makes any sense at all. Someone taking all those drugs could not possible carry off a 3 hour radio show 5 days a week. And someone as rich as Rush would not send his maid to the Amoco for drugs.

Right, and what I want to know is did Rush use the limo when he met the maid in Denny's parking lot to pick up his cigar box?

I remember Rush on-air several times saying he does not bill his insurance company for drug expenses, he just pays cash for them

I knew a prescriptin drug addict who did the same thing to avoid detection by the ins company.

Rush hearing lost is genetic. His family line suffered with the same condition. It slowly deteriorates until completely deaf. He also had trouble with his speech because he couldn't hear himself. Remember the before and after shows?

Just to build on what I said.... There are 1440 minutes in a 24 hour day, with 100 pills per day, He woul dhave to take one every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, to keep up. No Way

The dosage comes in 10 and 160. If he was doing 10's he might need 20 to 30 pills per day or 1,000 per month.

If Limbaugh has entered into the real world as an illegal drug buyer, your fantasies about him will be kicked to the curb.

That is the first thing you have said that I agree with.

I'm not worried--he can "still be trusted with your wife, your daughter, your pets, your ferrets, or your husband alone, over night at a Motel 6!"

How about identity theft? Her husband had a history of identity stealing and the maid could be a accomplice. All she had to do is look through his files while she was cleaning. Is it easy to tamper with a Doctor's prescription? Instead of 30 tablets, change it to 3000 tablets? Have it filled at your local unscrupulous pharmacist? Sell the extra on the street. Then implicate Rush in the scheme to cover their tracks and make some money from the story.

Simple explanation. The only flaw is if the dosage was too much the pharmacist would be obliged to question it. It would work better if she simply duplicated them and created other fictious names on the same script.

Yeah and this morning our local radio guy said he'd heard it was Marta with the problem and Rush was trying to cover it up.
