My brother went deaf when he was in first grade. The teacher thought he was stupied. The kids tormented him because he couldn't read. The visiting nurse thought it was something else and advised my parents to take him to a specialist. His tonsils were putting pressure on his "inner ear tubes." His tonsils were removed and he was able to hear again. But he had to repeat first grade in a different school.

Troll. You don't know anything about me, so don't make judgements. I don't happen to listen to Rush everyday. I'm lucky if I can listen once a month. I don't know if these allegations are true, but I know enough about how the press works that folks who are accused of something can be railroaded, no matter how many denials, non-denials or whatever that they state. I'll wait until there is some firm information, not just stories in a tabloid, or stories that use the tabloid as a serious and sole source.

For my nickle, why did they meet clandestinely at a Denny's (I think) parking lot??? She was his MAID for pit sakes.

I wondered about that myself. Even if she wasn't working for him at the time, why would he meet her anywhere? Why would he risk being seen taking a paper bag of stuff when all she has to do is come over with mop in hand, stay for 30 minutes, leave, and no one knows the difference?

However, I am just a little troubled there has been no denial of the underlying premise. Even as an attorney, I haven't thought of how a "I didn't do it" causes trouble. Even the feds don't prosecute false denials under the False Statement Act.
