Ford, you ARE correct about Schnucks. However, Anheuser-Busch WAS a supporter of Proposition B, the proposition to allow concealed carry of weapons which was voted on in Missouri in April of 1999.

Please go to this link to see it yourself, or read the statement, which I copied and pasted, below:

http://www.moccw.org/ab.html

Statement of Anheuser-Busch’s Position on Missouri Proposition B Attributed to Stephen K. Lambright, Vice President and Group Executive

"Anheuser-Busch has always supported individual freedoms and the constitutional rights of all Americans. This company has a long tradition of promoting responsible firearms ownership as well as shooting sports.

This April 6th, Missourians will decide if they want the right to carry concealed for personal protection. The Missouri General Assembly debated "Right-to-Carry" for six years before passing legislation for the citizens to vote on. The proposition has the necessary and prudent restrictions included as a result of that debate.

Therefore, Anheuser-Busch supports Proposition B and Missourians’ constitutional right of self-protection."

I'm not in favor of their pandering advertisements to gays. but we do need to set the record straight as it relates to A-B's support of second amendment rights.
