"But McClintock has also had several conservatives, and in some cases friends like Haynes, join Schwarzenegger's campaign.
Chuck Muth, president of Citizen Outreach and former executive director of the American Conservative Union, said he's in Schwarzenegger's camp"

[While some are willing to accept the actor's liberal social views for a GOP victory, others fear he might damage the party's pro-family agenda.]
And so who might be more damaging to "the party's pro-family agenda"?
Dufus
Bustamove
Arnold
(I do not list anyone else because these are the only viable candidates at this time)

I hope that bowl of oatmeal tastes really good because that's what you get for your birthright.

He's still looking good in the polls. Tomorrow, we'll hear that he enjoys murdering little old ladies and kicks puppies.

The GOP may win, but conservtism and mental maturity lose with this character.

I must say, the "bimbo eruptions" never seem to stop but embolden ol' Clint--I mean Arnold. I guess that's why he hired Democrats as well as Republicans for his team. Oh wait, that also happened with Clinton; he hired Republicans and Democrats for his team. Well, Arnold says he will give a middle class tax cut. Not the only one? Oh yeah, that was said by Bubba. Well he certainly has taken all the conservative's agendas away. What? Arnold does that too? How about love for Kennedy Family? Ego? Drug use? Powertrips?
Oh! That's why they call them New Democrats, I mean New Republicans, I mean Moderates. I mean Centrists. I mean New Tone Politicians. I mean Compassionate Conservatives. No? Yes?
If Arnold wins expect a new Reality TV show surrounding his life. LA Times shock you? You haven't seen anything yet! But then again, the Clinton years were so entertaining.
At least Davis will go. On second thought, at least I don't live in CA.

I didn't think there were enough conservatives left in Callyfornia to have a "rift".

Conservatives backing Arnold is not that much different from sheep backing wolves.
In fact, it's very much like sheep...
