Simon's own party was too busy stabbing him in the back to make anything of it. Simon himself had too much class to go there. Besides, his campaign was under the control of the same party "moderates" who screwed Tom McClintock in the same election.

I think there was a need to go there. This was battering of women here in the work place in government offices.
As far a Tom is concerned, he's nothing special!
