Crushing liberalism is what we're all about. We crush more of liberalism by taking out Davis and Bustamante than we do by crushing Arnold. That's the bottom line.

The LA Times has made this personal.

A lot of us not in Cally Fornia have been watching this thing, we have to, with great interest. My observation is that this Davis guy will be out for one reason......he hit you people in the pocket book just too many times.
When, oh when?, are the stupid liberals going to get it?
Maybe, just maybe, this is a little chip, chip.
Not counting on it. Afterall, this is Cally Fornia.
Best of luck to you all tomorrow. This can truly be a message to the rest of the US Liberals (Socialists), that everyone has HAD IT with their attitude.
Return America to the People. GO CALLY FORNIA.

Well said! That's why the Dems are doing everything to try to hold onto the CA governorship. Today we recapture the CA governorship, in 2004, we get a filibuster proof majority in the US Senate and start electing Republicans to statewide offices in CA. Tomorrow could be the major turning point for us or for the Democrats.

Agree. I like McClintock's policy ideas best, but finally decided Hugh Hewitt is right: a vote for McClintock is really a vote for Bustamante and thus not really a pro-life vote, etc. -- whereas a pro-Arnold vote may also help Bush win CA and maybe pull in enough Republican Senators to have veto-proof judicial nominations, etc. I've always been very conservative (i.e., Simon over Riordan) but I'm going to bite the bullet and vote for Arnold tomorrow. I do also consider it a vote against the LA TIMES, and I hope they realize bigtime that their unethical "shoe drop" blew up in their faces.
