Actually, while we can expect some legal moves from the RATS, it's a better situation in California because there are statewide recounting standards for all voting methods used.

I thought the electronic system leaves no paper trail and recounting is all but impossible.

Fox announcing that turnout is extremely heavy and may closely parallel 72% participation during the Presidential election. Hopefully it bodes poorly for Grayout and his phony wife.

Yeah, those provisional ballots are likely just a bunch of frauds (Democrats) going from precinct to precinct voting for Gray.

I just voted!

If Arnold doesn't win by 10 points, the 'rats are going to contest it in court etc.

My big fear is massive hacker fraud with the touch screen machines. It's hard to recount electrons.

A blatant in your face election theft could lead very quickly to a violent revolt.

(That's what happens in "Nuevo Mexico" in "Domestic Enemies.")

I live in South Orange County and the R's are on the ball.
I have a different polling place this cycle, and I received a phone call with directions how to get there. It was like they got the directions off of mapquest, from my home to the site.

South Orange County:

Just got a call from my next-door neighbor telling me that he was going to be late to work due to the long lines....not that we was complaining. He talked to a poll worker and said the worker said she was amazed at the line of people wating to get in before the polls even opened. BTW - I have already voted absentee.

It's always hard to tell be the size of the crowd, especially this year with so many other polling places closed. The woman told him that they has 40,000 registered voters for that polling place. Either way, it's good to see a lot of people voting here, since this is not Davis/Bustamante country.

I wouldn't joke about that. Some fool here in Georgia (probably a Democrat) posted flyers stating that Democrats couldn't vote until Wednesday. The Black syndicate in Atlanta had a field day with being disenfranchised.

Of course, the syndicate never mentioned the Cynthia McKinney people who left recorded messages to people telling them that cross-over voting is illegal in Georgia punishable by jail (open primary state).

Tomorrow we will hear the horror stories of the disenfranchised (re: idiots)

The LATimes puke-job is have a Wellstone Effect - a big backfire. I hope it's the beginning of a trend. And a beeg turnout, senor, is exactly the opposite of what Grayout needs. Beeg turnout = Buh-BYE!

How long before the Democratic Congressman goes on CNN saying "his office is flooded with calls from people who can't find where to go to vote?"

I meant that they seemed ignorant by suggesting that Schwarzenegger would be sworn in on Oct. 8. It will take longer than that to certify the vote.

A little girl was waiting outside of a door with some friends and was chanting, "Vote for Arnold". It was quite funny.

I wonder if the Democrats will have her arrested for electioneering at a polling place.

I just don't want anyone to forget that there are other important things on the ballot.

Yeah, I just got back from voting and my polling place was the busiest I have ever seen. I don't know if they combined polling places, but it was hard to find parking, and it is at a strip mall. On the good side, voting only takes a minute.

The young lady that accepted my ballot asked me if I checked the back for chads. When I started laughing she sheepishly replied, "I know."

But it sounds like they are heading off at least one challenge to the election.

If McClintock were in the lead right now, Gloria Allred would be trotting out a pack of prostitutes who would claim that Tom was a regular customer. This has got to stop. The only way to stop it is to ensure that Arnie gets as many votes as possible.

Exactly! And I'd keep a close eye on Tom McC's expenditures in the future, for casino money that stuck in his pocket. It's the only motive that makes any sense to me for his staying in, and breaking his word.

If Arnold doesn't win by 10 points

I'm on record with a 10 point win by Arnold.

When I was in my little local home's garage polling place at 845AM, there were three women between 25-35 in there. All 3 sheepishly asked for help putting the punch card in, explaining they "hadn't voted in a while." They didn't look like Bustamecha voters, to say the least.

It may be a small sample, but it told me that normally apathetic non-voters are turning out, big time.
