I've been searching too. I would imagine that ballots with both YES and NO chads would be voided (or counted in both columns, same effect) as to Q1 -- but I wonder if a (proper) vote for (a single) replacement candidate on the same ballot would count?

would a spoiled ballot with both chads punched actually be counted in both columns? Of course it wouldn't change the vote totals by doing so? Or would it count as a non vote, and not part of the 50% +1.

Has this issue ever been addressed? If the law isn't specific, the courts will address it. If the margin of victory or defeat in the recall is less than the amount of ballots spoiled on just the 1st question alone, somebody will take this to court unless the law is specific here.
