I heard exactly the same thing on KFI! The two guys went nuts on McC and his supporters! "President" Gore -- can you believe that?

I said no such thing. Try and rise above this pety crap. Taking this election personally and now basically ousting a powerful voice like McClintock from the GOP because he "just couldnt win".

And the comments on #4 aren't? They sounded pretty hateful to me! But sorry if I hurt your feelings!

Please note: Despite what all of the faux conservatives on FR have said for the past month or two, McClintock stayed in the election and did not lose it for Arnold. A vote for McClintock was not a vote for Bustamente. Undeterred by the unprincipled stand against a principled conservative and their dishonesty, now some of the faux conservative FReepers are piling on McClintock because he actually lost against the well financed, well known Hollywood movie star candidate in California. I admire Tom McClintock for ignoring the naysayers and the elitist establishment Republican Party kingmakers and staying in the race to offer conservatives a real choice in the election. Tom certainly cannot be blamed for the fact that RINOs and socialists outnumber conservatives in California. At least he had the balls to stay in there while everyone else was eagerly waving the white flag.

He should have curbed his ego and made the same speech a month ago.

Oh shut up! Consider the source shellylet! The liberal Republicans on this forum have no dignity at all.

I'm getting even more pissed at McClintock, if that is possible. Two days ago McClintock was joining Davis and Bustamante in calling for Arnold to withdraw from the race if the groping "allegations" were true.
Now he's saying he wants to support and work with Arnold.
What a two-faced creep.

McTalk a powerful voice? The motion of jaw muscles and exhalation of warm air does not a leader make.

You obviously don't know what you're talking about!
I happen to think McClintock is a decent guy. Does it bother you that someone actually holds to their principles these days?

No, he wasn't. I was one of those who thought that the sex focus was stupid and needed to be abandoned, but that the coverup exceeded Nixonian standards. The day that Rush warned people to send their kids from the room while he read lurid passages in a disgusted voice from the Starr report was the day I knew that the whole impeachment was DOA.

McClintock stayed in the election and did not lose it for Arnold.
A vote for McClintock was not a vote for Bustamente.More importantly and factual, it was a landslide without Tom and his supporters.
