Twice Katie tried to bring up cutting programs and raising taxes in order to balance the budget. The fact that she thinks this is a bad thing is stunning. If the budget MUST be balanced, then there will have to be cuts. Reality must be hard for her and other elitists to deal with.

Right! Katie became restless when Dreier explained that Arnold has for some time been saying that his approach will be to conduct an audit of the budget to determine how savings can be made. That wasn't good enough for Katie: "but won't it be necessary to cut programs or raise taxes?", she almost yelled.

And how about Katie's dismay at the prospect of the car tax being axed? You can afford the car tax, sweetie, but a lot of the folks you purport to be so concerned for CAN'T. Wench.
