I wouldn't want to live in an America where a Jew, a Hindu, a Buddhist or any one of a hundred different faiths was not welcome at the halls of Government. That is outright dishonesty. Establishing a Christian code as the basis for our laws (as the founding fathers did) does not exclude any other religions. In fact, it actually espouses religious tolerance.
You have warped the words and objectives of these good people. You've twisted the truth and I want all to see that. None of these people you've quoted, or organizations you mention above, claim an objective of creating an exclusive Christian theocracy. None have that objective despite your outright lie.

Christian reconstructionists are not out to get you...They will not succeed in "getting" me, or anyone else.
But they pretty much emasculated the GOP in California with their political ineptitude, and stuff like that has real-world consequences.

I'm not even sure that the recall was supposed to succeed - had it not been for the fortuitous bit of luck that Issa fronted money, that effort would have died on the vine.
Not to discount his contribution, but Issa didn't "front money." He got on board after the petition drive was already underway. At least 700,000 of the 1.6 million recall signatures were gathered without Issa, when the Secretary of State stopped counting. Is it your contention that the Recall was designed to fail, and that Issa saved it?

How about the one we have now, you know, the one where Jews, Buddhists, Moslems, Atheists and every other creed on earth can participate in this government? You're starting to get hysterical. It is you that is getting hysterical in your misplaced alarmism. None of these people or groups, the CRA, or anyone you've included above is trying to establish a nation where Jews, Buddhists, Moslems, Atheists, etc can't participate in this government. That is a lie that you told in your first post in this thread and it is a lie that you continue to tell in your dishonest smear and slander of the NFRA and the CRA and Christian conservatives in general.

So, my question is true, then. They have controlled the party for years and had no success, yet have acted like it's the moderates who have ruined things, is that correct? If so, this is a huge revelation to me.

So God's kingdom does not encompass this world? On the contrary, God's sovereignty demands that every realm of the universe is under his control and dominion.
Now, certainly there are different usages for "kingdom" and you cited one which shows that God's literal kingdom is not immoral and fleshly like this world, but that does not mean that he does not reign down here. He reigns everywhere, though you don't like that.

Does the CRA control the California Republican Party, or did it up until this recall?

If not a Christian moral code, by which code do you suggest we would better be governed? The code we live by is the U.S. Constitution. Why do you want it overthrown?

I love the Chalcedon Foundation and I regard Ahmonson as a hero. Mark Rushdoony is a brilliant theologian, and I believe he is still alive. His dad, JR Rushdoony, Gary North's father-in-law, is the one who passed away recently.
I would love for the Chalcedon folks to come up to Oregon and staraighten things out!

IIRC, the clock was running out for a fall election, and there wasn't enough money in the recall initiative's coffers for a legal challenge to Shelley's antics until Issa showed up.
Is it your contention that the Recall was designed to fail, and that Issa saved it?
I think that a bunch of people of all political persuasions did not want the recall to succeed because it meant that their rice bowl might get broken. The prospect of a governor being elected without passing through party-controlled primaries was extremely unnerving to folks in senior positions of both parties.

I do not know this Chalcedon - but ALL Christians believe that Freedom is paramount to Salvation. Freedom to sin and Freedom to choose the Savior.
No true Christian espouses anything less than Liberty.
Standing against gay marriage or gay adoption or regulating porn so that it cannot be sold to a minor is not infringement on ones personal liberty.

The code we live by is the U.S. Constitution. Why do you want it overthrown? The code upon which our government is based is Judeo-Christian. The U.S. Constitution is the legal construct which reflects that code. Maybe you haven't read enough of the words of the founding fathers to understand this.

I understand that the RNC may already be on to this group.
.. and that these folks intend to take over or split the republican party...
Gee, no wonder they are so torqued off over california NOT being won by bustamente and davis... they were counting on a republican loss to advance their prominence in the party...
no wonder they revelled in slandering arnold over the la slimes lies....also explains the interest of out of staters and the talking points issued by certain so called "true conservative" rino hunters and their leaders.
wouldn't surprise me if some of the vocal ones here, are on the payroll of such organizations... not one with...
the "chalcedony" party I guess

Chanc Palpatane's hysteria is funny stuff....
And for the record, I am not a theonomist. I used to be, but now I adhere to the Covenanter doctrine of national covenants, but only with the consent of the governed, not forcibly.
