Three years ago then Mr., now President, Bush said he'd sign a PBA bill. At the time I viewed it as a RNC sop to keep us quite. After all! what could keep the USA from outlawing that practice – talk about diminished expectations! Shortly after that announcement Drier let the Hugh Hewitt talk show audience know it wasn't a front burner issue - not a murmur from HH.

Now three years later a PBA bill goes to the Senate.

Make a guess how hard the Republicans in the Senate will fight a threatened filibuster. If they fight as hard as they did for Estrada bye bye the PBA bill.

Hope I have to eat my complaint, but at this juncture I doubt it - hence the above complaint.
