Couric Raises Spectre of Republican Plot, Racial Motivation in Bugging of Philly Mayor
The Today Show

Posted on 10/09/2003 4:32:28 AM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

Katie Couric of The Today Show just completed a segment on the news that an FBI bug had been discovered in the office of Dem Philadelphia Mayor John Street.

Street's administration has been rocked by scandals, including accusations that it fixed parking tickets for allies and awarded a $13.6 million contract to a firm linked to the mayor's brother. An aide to Street has been charged with threatening a landlord who rented space to the campaign of his Republican opponent, Sam Katz.

A balanced approach would have included guests from both sides of the issue. But true to her style, Katie only invited in the Mayor himself.

Not only did Katie offer up the traditional softballs she reserves for Dem guests, she resorted to her favorite technique to push her own views under a very paltry guise of journalism.

Twice Couric cited her favorite source, the all-knowing: "some." Thus, stated Couric, "some" have suggested that the FBI's investigation was politicaly motivated, part of a Republican effort to bring down Street, who is involved in a bitter re-election campaign against Republican Sam Katz.

And later in the interview, Couric, always eager to throw gasoline on the flames of racial division, asserted that "some" have suggested that the investigation was racially motivated, against the African-American Street.

Of course Street was only-too-willing to buy into Katie's conspiracy theories, though he actually conducted himself with more dignity and less partisanship than Couric.

Of course, Street's more temperate attitude might well have been induced by his knowledge of the depth of the corruption in his office.

(she does have great legs, though),

Puhleeze... Last time I saw a drumstick like that I was at KFC. Chicken legs. I haven't seen anything perky about Katie in over 10 years.

"Unfortunately, many voters, especially of the female persausion, are sucked in to this garbage"

That would include emotion-driven feminized males that are in the majority today.

Well, that cheerleading photo explains her completely. She does the same thing for the anti-American Leftist side of the country these days.

Couldn't agree more. I routinely post Barbra Streisand's "truth alerts" for just the same reason.

Now now...Streisand does have a great voice, Clooney is a pretty good actor, and Bill Maher does say some funny things at times. Those facts do not take away from the fact that they all are *ssholes, like Couric (who DOES have great legs).

Couric, representing NBC:

"We (at NBC) all hope and pray that Saddam escaped harm, and hopefully fled to Syria."

WHAT?

I realize this must be old, but geeeeeeeeeeeeeeez, oh absolute PUKE, it is new to me. This is beyond belief!

Everywhere this horror of a so called news reporter goes this comment should follow. She is genuinely sick in her heart and has lost her soul. Oh my gosh....what kind of stupidity, heartlessness, gross lack of vision and lack of concern for Iraqi people is swarming inside this leftist parasite? This woman is truly a creep of major proportions.
