I know a couple of people who have broken free from a crack additiction and one who has been freed from methadone. It takes a strong will and a lot of faith.

Thanks, but AlAnon is the 12 step recovery program for friends and family members whose life has been affected by someone else's drinking. Alcoholics Anonymous is for the alcoholic.

The alcoholic that qualified me for membership in AlAnon has been clean and sober for 20 years and we have many friends who have been sober for that length of time or longer.
