My mother died of cancer a year ago, and I know what the Pope is going through. Mom was strong up till the end, then went comatose for about a week. I'm not Catholic, but I like this Pope and am sending some prayers his way.

Pope John Paul & Arafat have stomach cancer?
Not Catholic, but kudos to the Vatican for opening the door to the Anglican Christian brothers & sisters.
To: kellynla
I'll be 27 in November so this is the only Pope I've ever known. He's most definitely in my prayers.

I am not a Catholic, but I consider him a honest and decent man, the kind the world needs more of, not less.

Great man. Part of the holy trinity that defeated international communism:
John Paul II, Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan.
God bless every one of them for what they accomplished in the cause of human freedom.

I will.

I think God will let him live until Oct, 16....25 yr. anniversary and the beatification of Mother Teresa wil be a beautiful send-off for such a great man.

Prayers for Pope John Paul.
To: Senator Goldwater
Part of the holy trinity that defeated international communism: John Paul II, Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan. Amen, friend. They are the true giants of the second half of the 20th Century, just as Churchill, FDR, and Einstein were in the first half.
