Bork is a smart man and a straightshooter and I doubt he could tolerate Catholic-lite, feel good Catholicism. He was looking for the Truth and he knew who he could trust to give it to him. For the record, I always thought Bork was a Catholic because I have read several of his books in years past. I was quite surprised to recently find out that he is a recent convert.
