Bishop Fulton Sheen made the Holy Hour every single day of his priesthood, for sixty years.

He took "Can you not watch one hour with Me?" very literally.

I thought you guys would appreciate this story. Kind of an eye-raiser for NCR.

The 2.2 million hours of prayer began with a single sister standing before a tabernacle in a simple convent chapel in Jefferson, Wis.

Reminds me of Mother Angelica and her intention to establish a worldwide Catholic television network. It only takes one person to set the wheel in motion.

Sister Marlene Weisenbeck, president, brings the monstrance into Maria Angelorum Chapel during the opening rite.

Three FSPA novices carry in the lard light, crafted for the celebration, during the opening rite.

Cantors and the FSPA choir during the celebration Mass.

Sister Margaret Heil rings the chapel bells at 11:00 a.m. to begin the 126th year of adoration.

The lard light burns throughout the public celebration.
