I am willing to the extent practicable to move on mass killers anywhere on the globe. Granted, it takes planning and strategy. Sometimes, it is not possible practically, and sometimes not politically. FDR maybe did the best he could, given the poltically realities, and yes of course, he was too soft on Stalin at the end, although public opinion had no stomach for keeping at the time US troops in Europe to stop Stalin from effecting his evil empire. But FDR should have used his bully pulpit to have tried, but then FDR was very ill at the time.
Granted, the US was not perfect in the Hitler matter. It should have been involved actively in diplomacy to deflect the incipient Munich pact over Czech, and promise France and Britain it would back them up with force of arms, and joined the war when Britain and France did, and let Hitler know that both were inevitable outcomes of his game plan. Maybe that would have deflected Hitler. So America has moral failings. It also had them over Pol Pot, and some other matters. Our magnificent country is not perfect. But it means well, and is doing better and better at what at present is its moral duty.
The point is that I have more inclination to use the force of American arms than you are to fight palpable evil when its ugly head arises, and to do that on a non sectarian basis.

By the way, I was also a big fan over the intervention of the US in Bosnia and Kosovo, to save the savaging and diaspora of Muslims. For the record.

I understand that in Kosovo all of the old Orthodox Churches were destroyed.Much the same thing happened in Serbia.
Amazing with "our" smart bomb capabilities. One might question whether there was a intent to destroy Christianity;that is,if one were a suspicious sort.

Much the same did not happen in Serbia. Kosovars are not angels. They are as bigoted as the Serbs were and are. But they had the right to live, and live as they were. And bricks and mortar loss, while unfortunate should not deflect that. Given the mass bigotry of the region, the inimcial peoples needed to have the authority over them separated, and then policed, and that was what happened, and that is what will continue, for the forseeable future, and that is right and just.

And would this possibly be a trial run at the NO "reforms" in the 1960's? Yes, along with the "deform" of Holy Week in 1955.
More to the point, can anyone reign in Mahony? :-)
The Grim Reaper.

There is an order of charity. (1) God (2) Self (3) Father (4) Mother (5) Spouse (6) Children (7) Other Family (8) Friends (9) Benefactors (10) Countrymen (11) Co-religionists (12) Co-ethnics (13) Other Good Men (14) Our Body (14) Evil Men (15) Enemies. Is this heirarchy your creation or does it have another source?
