Sorry, but I happened to notice that spending time reading and studying the word of God wasn't included. I can think of no better way to draw nigh to Him.

You are right, I did not write this as a replacement for giving up reading the Scriptures but as an addition to that. I should have put that in there. Thank you and I hope everybody reads your post.
