Michael Horton was discussing an apologetics effort with a fairly well known atheist. Horton related how every time the point started hitting home the atheist would change the subject.

Horton finally said “look, we know that Jesus died.’

The atheist said “no, I think he fainted.”

Horton: ‘Well here is an article that says that He died.”

Atheist: What do you expect from a fundamentalist publication?”

Horton: “That’s right, people often accuse the Journal of the American Medical Association of being fundamentalist.”

No accounting for taste or for blind bias, it seems.

Certainly Scripture is correct about “the fool said in his heart, there is no God.”
