I'm seeing the movie for the first time this weekend. Can't wait.

One thing I don't understand...how can a film which centers on the torture that a Jewish man endured for the salvation of all be anti-Semitic? Jesus is the good guy in the movie, right? He's the main character, correct? Voight claims he had a Catholic upbringing but he clearly does not understand the roots of Judeo-Christianity.

Well, a couple of days ago Raquel Welch pretty much came out of the closet on O'Reily Factor as at least a conservative-leaning woman, hailing Mel Gibson as her 'hero' and speaking highly of traditional values.

So 'their side' has John Voight.

'Our side' has Raquel Welch (who, at 63, still puts some lead in my pencil).

I'm comfy with the way the sides are shaping up. ;-)

I wonder, you know, why Mel did this and what his agenda is. Listen, he‘s a talented guy. He is a talented guy as an actor and he‘s a talented guy as a director. And he has a great following.

Academy Award winner Jon Voight is now saying Hollywood insiders hate “The Passion” and has said that it has elements of Adolf Hitler in it.

Well, I guess the anti-Semite argument must have been getting enough traction. Now Voight has bring out the big gun ideas and compare Gibson to Hitler!
