Not at all. No more so than you are to believe every "Catholic" Church and every one of their pastors is "identical in belief and practice".

I'd agree with you. Most self-identifying Catholics are formal or material heretics in one way or another. I don't exempt myself. But we can know whether or not we hold heretical beliefs because the Church has a codified body of doctrine to which Catholics are obligated to assent.
