sinkspur is used to calling the shots when he's with laypeople, I do believe
he likes it when we "pray, pay and obey" him

With all due respect, Bob Barker, since you are now also Mr. Manners:
It is rude to draw atttention to a breach of etiquette. Thank you for demonstrating how to be rude.
I point this out as a public service - knowing full well that to do so is rude.

Ironic, that the
Baptists are coming to the same conclusion about public schools. I guess we are just ahead of our time.

I didn't realize you were active duty again. God bless you. I will hold you and your family in my prayers.
Did Mother's school fail to meet your expectations or do you find homeschooling simply superior to even that environment?

nce you break from tradition and set yourself up as an authority, you have no leg to stand on when the next generation rises up and rejects your authority.

Okay you guys, we've all done it but that doesn't make it right. If you are going to talk about someone in your post it is only right to ping them as well.
Sorry if pointing this out seems rude, but it is hard to type charitably.

We moved!
We miss that school dearly.
The reverent daily Mass alone makes the school worth while. And monthly Benediction and confession.
Imagine a normally rambunctious 10-year-old altar boy who knows how to serve Mass with other boys - his firends - reverently, silently, lovingly, gigglelessly - because he has been taught what the Mass is and how to show resepct.
Imagine him knowing how to assist the priest in all the special actions during a traditional Benediction service - and showing respect and care throughout.
And also joy at being able to serve the Lord in such a special way.
How do you know Mother?

Bob BarkerI like it, it fits. I can just see him on the altar:
"Who's up next for Holy Communion? John Kerry?"
"Come on down!"
