Anyone who doesn't crave a return to 1960 in the Catholic Church now gets branded a Neo-Catholic. Like the Patsies in politics who think THEY are the only true bearers of conservatism, the trads are now coining vocabulary that makes THEM the "true" Catholics, and the rest of us "Catholic lite."

You compromise your crediblity every time you make this false distinction. But, like Pharisees, you will continue to thank God that you're not like those Novus Ordo Catholics.

Why not worship the way you want and shut up about it? You attract no one with your narrowness.

You most certainly are a "Catholic lite" liberal. You shouldn't view it as an insult, it's simply who you are.

You can't go around in public preaching the virtues of such things as altar girls, married priests, giving the species in a glass, yoga and every other form of modernism then expect to be treated as an orthodox or even a devout Catholic.

You can't run interference for heretics such as Horror-show Hubbard and Taj Mahony while complaining about Bishops such as Sheridan of Colorado Springs and expect others not to consider you a liberal.

What exactly do you expect sinkspur that most of your words and deeds be that of a liberal yet have others say "there goes a solid conservative" when you walk by?
