I don't understand why the Pope allows this to continue.

"The undeniable truth is that if it weren’t for the disproportionate number of homosexuals who have infiltrated our clergy, we wouldn’t be suffering with the crisis we’re embroiled in now."

I would add that the crisis is due to a culture of dissent and error that has gotten a foothold in the Chruch.

The Pope cares so little about this homosexual and pedophile issue that he gave a promotion to Cardinal Law of Boston- who let Fr. Geogan and Fr. Shanely do whatever they wanted to do to little boys and then he wrote them letters of recommendation.

This play was at all of the major Catholic Colleges including Notre Dame and I think John Carroll. When are Catholics going to wake up and say no to all of this sexual licentiousness and perversion? This kills peoples bodies and souls and sends them to hell if they die unrepentant.

Why is it that homosexuals seem to have a distinct proclivity to denigrate whatever it is they have their way with?

Because their self-loathing becomes outwardly directed.

I don't understand why the Pope allows this to continue.

Quite frankly, I believe it is because he finds this impossible to comprehend.

It's entirely possible there is some genetic component that causes a tendency toward homosexuality. So what? You can say the same for alcoholism, wife-beating, and retardation. This doesn't mean it's a good thing that we should approve of. We are human beings. The main thing that sets us apart from animals is our ability to overcome our defects.

Excellent. Why don't you submit it as an op-ed to one of your local papers. I found you comment about their scarcity among the laity interesting. I once read a book about the gay-lesbians in San Francisco and found that (1) 40% of gays said they were atheist and agnostic (2) 75% of lebisnas said the same thing. The "movement" hates Christianity and blames it for their perceived persecution.

Yes m'am. Ninenot inspired it when he asked me a few pointed questions as to what we should do about our gay problem.

Altogether a nice presentation of the argument.

You get a 93% because of the spelling errors.

Sorry---being the Archpriest of a church in Rome is NOT "a promotion" from being the Cardinal-Archbishop of Rome.

It's a sinecure, and a very forceful argument can be made that under Canon Law, Cdl Law should be provided for by the Church.

After all, he has not been de-frocked, nor has he been accused of/convicted of any crimes by a Canonical Court.

I will grant you that either Law is a very dumb guy, or he was completely hoodwinked by both the shrinks and his underlings---or both.

But stupidity is not a violation of the Canon Law.

Let's just call a spade a spade. The Pope's a liberal, just like Paul VI. He has an unswerving faith that men will correct themselves.

"Optimist" might be another word.

Very good article - everyone who complains about sex abuse and the Catholic Church should read it. It is NOT a Catholic problem, or a celibacy problem, or a pedophilia problem.

It is a homosexual infiltration problem.

Only one small complaint - using the word "gay" I find offensive, it's a good English word that has been hijacked by homosexuals. Why not just use the word "homosexual"?

I will ping my list!
