Al-Turki speaks of plots to remove al-Aqsa mosque Palestine-Regional, Politics, 8/23/2004
Secretary General of the Islamic World Association, Abdullah al-Turki, Sunday urged the international community to "put an end to the Zionist terrorist organizations which plot to destruct and remove the holy mosque of al-Aqsa in Jerusalem."
In a statement commemorating the 35th anniversary of burning al-Aqsa at the hands of the Israeli extremists, al-Turki warned against "new Zionist plots to remove the holiest mosque in Islam."
" Burning al-Aqsa at the hands of an extremist Zionist in Aug, 1969 was a reflection of a Zionist plan which aimed at removing the mosque," al-Turki said adding that any destruction or desecration to the religious places in Jerusalem is a violation to the international law and convention.
He urged Muslims all over the world to unify their stances to "confront the Zionist plots and practices.".
Wonder why "extremist Zionists" want to get rid of Al Aqsa mosque?
Didn't someone post an article saying islamic terriorist wanted to bomb the mosque and blame it on the Jews?
It's now holier than Mecca, or is that a slip of the tongue? Since these Islamodemons project their own schemes and motives onto others (just like the left), is he revealing that they are plotting to destroy the mosque in Mecca (and blame it on the Joos)? Hmmm...
Guns up.
