This concept is 100% alien to Islam -- There is no love in Islam -- Only fear and hate.

Amen! The war on terror is going to continue until Jesus returns and puts an end to it. There is absolutely nothing to stop the spread of Islam, short of His return.

This is so un-ecumenical.
Haven't you heard about "building a civilization of love where all humanity regardless of creed or sexual orientation are treated with equal dignity" "in the spirit of Vatican 2"?
Pope John Paul supports the U.N. under Kofi Annan; shouldn't you?

I loved the post also, it was very good, and I am not even a Christian. I am thankful everyday not to be born in a Muslim country because I would not be allowed to explore the nature of reality like I am in the secular democracy of the United States. I am a pagan and I and all intelligent followers of alternative religions realize that to live in a Muslim country would be our death. Christianity even at it's historic worst is more tolerant then Islam. Sure the Christians brutally murdered and tortured those that didn't agree with them but that was centuries ago. Christianity has the ability to adapt to a changing world but does Islam?

Nicely prepared. Thank you. I'm going to pass it on to others, with your permission.

" if Jesus is the Prince of Peace and forgiveness, why does Bush support the death penalty?"

Jesus may very well be the "Prince of Peace and Forgiveness", but he is not the "Prince of No Consequenses for Your Actions."

Don't adherents of Islam worship the god of Abraham?

Not very likely.

Modern day disciples of Mohammed respond to the terrorist attacks by cheering in the streets; Modern day disciples of Christ are deeply grieved at past atrocities carried out by those who were "Christians" in name only (the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, etc.).

Neither the inquisition nor the crusades were atrocities. They have been spun by revisionists into seeming to be atrocities.

They actually do. Muslims accept Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammed as their holy Prophets. They think highly of each prophet, and generally aren't supposed to put anyone higher than the other, but Mohammed being the last in line in their faith they seem to emphasize him far more then the others.

Especially considering their holy verse says "There is no God, but Allah and Mohammed is his prophet".

Muslims worship the god of Abraham, Al-ilah. Al-ilah means the god; ilah=ilu=el as in Israel.

"Nothing changes the fact that Abraham was an unholy monster who was willing to kill his own son."

You've got Abraham confused with the average peace-loving Palestinian.

Gee how astonishing.
