Before I spend more time fuming, and I am fuming,I am hoping to find out who nominated Trautman. Then I think that there are many suspect activities surrounding the electronic balloting and the complement of bishops who can vote on certain issues.
The fact that the exbishop of Phoenix, attended makes me very suspicious. Was he allowed to vote? Certainly he should not have been able to cast a ballot, but his history as a known dissembler and protector of homosexuals leads me to believe that he probably commanderred some machine and cast a ballot for the old guard. Can anyone help with some answers? Thanks.
I would think the bishop who nominated Trautperson did it as a pre agreed upon action, with the full knowledge of more than a few bishops - you can pick out which ones would not want Vigneron or Burke in charge of the Liturgy committee. I wonder if the bishops got the message when the voting apparatus went haywire for that couple of minutes? Ya, right!
