Go to the Uscb's web site:www.nccbuscc.org. When you get there there is a list along the right side, hit bishops and voila.

Gusess what, the culprit who nominated Troutperson was Kinney from St. Cloud. One of three that I said I would not be surprised about. Thank goodness it was not one of the two I hold hope for.Kinney was vetted and approved by the secret society team of Jadot and Baggio in 1976. His Installatiion Mass was celebrated by the reprehensible Roach from Minneapolis/St Paul. He worked as an auxilliary under him for about 6 years at which time he was moved to the diocese of Bismarck as bishop. He was probably cute and was 39 when he became a bishop.(wink-wink)

Even better my source tells me the goofs who seconded the nomination were Pellotte, the lying piece of dirt from Gallup, and Wilkerson and Salazar (both auxiliaries for Mahoney),Blaire from Stockton,I believe, although there is a Blaire from Toledo too. The fifth one's name was indistinct. Seems we see the fine hand of the Superforce's prime mover Mahoney. I know Pellotte travelled with him to Rome for the "ad limina" visit and told bald face lies upon his return.

You know this is turning out to be most interesting. Picking up rocks and watching the snakes slither out is not all bad.

Two statements that John Paul II made, back long ago come to mind;"We must smother error with Truth",and "Nothing done in secret should remain hidden." I've alwaystaken both those statements as kind of marching orders from the Pope. Too bad the bishops didn't,would have saved lots of heartbreak. On the other hand maybe it would have resulted in just a partial cleaning rather than a thorough "look under every rock" sweep.

All things work together for good for those who love God."

Where did you find this little tidbit?

I agree. I also wish I could share in some of your bucolic euphora right now. My one and ONLY consolation is that the conference includes bisops from the Eastern Rites. On the rerun from opening night, Bishop Gregory called forth ALL the new bishops and began introducing them .... The Most Reverend Blah Blah, The Most Reverend This That, etc. He introduced a new Bishop from the Melkite Catholic Church. Watching, it was obvious that the number of names called out did not match the number of bodies standing behind him. So, he asked those whose names had not been called to step forward. One by one, they took a 'giant' step forward, Bishop Gregory called out their name, they stepped back, and so forth. The last one to step forward is my bishop - Bishop Gregory John Mansour, from St. Maron's in the Eparchy of Brooklyn. He then announced that a separate meeting of the Eastern Bishops would be held in such and such room on such and such day at a specified time.

As Sandyeggo and I can both attest, there is little in the USCCB Bishop's Conference Agenda that even remotely ties in with the Eastern Catholic rites. It is such a consolation to know that we have been spared from many of these innovations. At times, I pinch myself as a reminder that the liturgy we celebrate each week is fixed and unchangeable, steeped in reverence for the Holy Eucharist, and now been given the papal blessing to rediscover its ancient roots. Thank you, Lord, for this blessing in our lives!
