Wow--look what this country has come to. I can't imagine having to wear one of those pins here in Vancouver (where the woman at the P. O. wished me Merry Christmas yesterday), but during the Clarence Thomas hearings I lived in Seattle and worked with people who automatically assumed that Anita Hill was above reproach. I could see wearing holiday colors and pins, and plastering "Merry Christmas" signs all over my work area if I still worked there.
